1-2 Hours  (Grades 3-8)
This workshop is usually based at a local pond or waterway.  Participants will learn how to use dip nets, catch, backwash and identify macro and micro invertebrates with the use of a hand lens and portable microscopes.  If time or accessibility does not allow a site visit, the program can be brought indoors with “simulated ponds”.
