This was a presentation I made for a middle school/high school chemistry
course on the different forms of luminescence (manmade vs natural). Some of the information is complex, however you
can take any parts of the presentation to use in your classes.

Gerbil Behavior Observation Chart
Here's a fun observation activity for any age. This is a Gerbil Observation
Chart to print out and post in your classroom or home if you have a tank of gerbils. Students/children simply make a check
mark in the box under each activity that they see the gerbils doing. Students can then create simple graphs of behavior over
a specified number of minutes. Please let me know what you do with it and feel free to send samples.
